Our History
In 2008 an Indiana entrepreneur, Gene McGowen, purchased the former Whiskey Barrel Planter Company. Change took place starting with the name change to American GardenWorks. A name that was relevant to the company's future direction and commitment to quality products made in the U.S.A
We have become a leader in merchandising with extensive expansion in our product lines & assortments while improving product quality and expanding retail distribution.

The American GardenWorks philosophy is quite simple……we will provide quality products at competitive prices with a “mainstream” style that appeals to all consumers. Add in trend in color and style so our product line will always add beauty to any household or garden application. We focus on Merchandising Solutions for all product categories, that fit all retail spaces, complete with “eye catching” point of sale and space saving and unique merchandising features. We continually evaluate our products and add new products and categories every year. American GardenWorks plans to be a valued supplier by following this philosophy everyday.
